Welcome to the official page of William G. Enloe High School's NASA SLI Team. We are from Raleigh, North Carolina. The NASA Student Launch Initiative, or SLI, is a program for middle and high school students that involves designing, building and testing a reusable rocket. Inside the rocket, a scientific payload is included to aid in the execution of an student-designed experiment. At Enloe, our experiment involves measuring the air density and comparing it to acceleration rates as the rocket climbs. To collect data, our rocket will include an altimeter, a temperature sensor, and a Rocket Data Acquisition System (R-DAS) which measures pressure and acceleration in our payload.
The Enloe SLI Team is currently seeking any sponsors that wish to help out our school with funding, materials, or any form of support helpful to the project. If interested please send an email to webmaster@enloerocketry.com. Thanks! |
